Launch Control

Porsche

We helped Porsche create a brand identity for their Launch Control event. It marked one of the most spectacular car launches and took place on Sydney Airport’s famous tarmacs.

In an unprecedented first, Porsche launched the new 911 Turbo S airside at Sydney International Airport. The iconic 2.2km Runway 16L/34R was shut down exclusively for Porsche to host the most ambitious drive event ever engineered in Australia for its customers. A never to be repeated, 911 experience of a lifetime.

Our branding system applied to a range of collateral including a bespoke boarding pass invite, uniforms, and environmental designs. The unveiling of the sports car to the Australian market gave 48 VIPs the opportunity to drive along Runway 16L/34R – one of two usually off-limits runways that protrude out into Botany Bay.

“I feel like I’ve got the golden ticket to Willy Wonka.” That’s how one Porsche enthusiast described receiving a ‘boarding pass’ to what may be one of the most exclusive events ever held on four wheels.
