SXSW Sydney engaged Studio 3AM to create the Screen Festival's Pre-roll. Our task was to build upon SXSW Sydney's established brand while creating something unique for their film-loving audience.

Movie enthusiasts appreciate thoughtful references to different film genres and artistic styles. This audience responds particularly well to creative work that demonstrates an understanding of cinema culture, from arthouse to horror. We saw an opportunity to create a film that would resonate deeply with the festival’s audience by incorporating cinematic elements and references.

We developed a Pre-roll that blend psychedelic visuals with references to arthouse, horror, indie, and fantasy genres.

Our agile project management system enabled real-time updates and accurate content management throughout the development of the Pre-roll. We worked closely with illustrators and sound designers to ensure all elements worked harmoniously while maintaining the distinctive SXSW Sydney brand identity.
